Seminar – Finnish Forestry Sector Showcases Timber Innovation to Chilean Delegation
A Chilean delegation representing five wood panel industry companies and six universities visited Finland and Estonia to explore Nordic expertise in forestry innovation, sustainable wood construction, and emerging bioeconomy technologies. The visit began with the high-level Forestry Seminar: Vision for Wood Construction, co-organized by the Finnish–Latin American Chamber of Commerce and Niina Fu, and held at the World Trade Center in Helsinki.
Seminar Highlights
The seminar brought together leading Finnish specialists from the forest industry, timber construction policy, bioeconomy development, and academic research. The program showcased Finland’s integrated approach to sustainable forest use, advanced wood construction, and international collaboration in the bio-based sector.
