Chilean Sawmill Delegation Explores Finland’s Leading Wood Processing Technology

A Chilean sawmill delegation visited Finland in June 2018 as part of the fourth ”Sawmill Safari”, and the visit was supported by Corma (Chilean Wood Corporation). The delegation of 25 participants, ranging from small sawmill owners to major industry representatives, explored Finland’s world-class wood processing technology and automation innovations.

Key Highlights of the Visit

Learning from a Global Leader – The visit aimed to gain insights into Finland’s advanced sawmilling solutions and best practices.

A seminar in cooperation with the Finnish Chamber of Commerce, providing insights into industry trends and business opportunities.

Industry Visits & Technology Insights – The delegation visited seven sawmills, top machinery suppliers, and engineering companies across 1,300 km in Finland, learning about:
