Finnish Mining Week in Peru – Largest Event by Niina Fu Consulting (Canceled Due to COVID-19)
The Finnish mining networking week, organized by Niina Fu, gathered over 500 professional registrations and a Finnish delegation of four companies, making it the largest event she had planned.
The program included:
✅ A Finnish-Peruvian panel, hosted by the Institute of Mining Engineers of Peru, focusing on lessons from the Mining Safari 2019 in Finland.
✅ Seminar: Each Finnish company would present a 20-minute case study.
✅ A workshop, where Finnish companies would present case studies and take part in a future-focused workgroup led by Finnish futurist Niko Herlin (TBC).
✅ End-client visits, where Peruvian mining companies would host Finnish companies in Lima for business discussions and site visits.
✅ Networking opportunities, connecting Finnish and Peruvian mining professionals with industry stakeholders.
Despite its extensive planning and media collaborations with Rumbo Minero and five other mining magazines, the event was canceled at the last minute due to COVID-19.
